Happy New Year! We are ready for the New Year and to excited to share our annual priorities for 2018:

  1. To pilot the Business Clinic Services with Ujasiri, our Australian partner.
  2. To support the promotion and advocating for renewable energy and clean energy services within the country.
  3. To support the development and promotion of rural industries through value chain approach.


Our Business Clinic Services within KAKUTE officially started as pilot. We welcome Mr. Edward Mollel as our part time Program Manager. Already, 12 business ideas and 10 startups businesses from Arusha City have registered for the Clinic. The Pilot is 6-months long and offers tailor-made training workshops, networking opportunities, field visits, advanced courses and mentoring. We are actively on the lookout for collaborators and partners. If you would like to support innovative business ideas and startups, we look forward to hearing from you.

Promoting and advocating for renewable and clean energy in Tanzania: Along with our development partners, we are developing projects that promote clean energy—through off-grid and mini-grid technologies—as a solution to increase productive-use in remote areas. Here, we invite stakeholders, and investors interested in supporting clean energy for productive use.

Development and promotion of rural industries through value-chain development support and incubation services: We are currently in the development stages, identifying key stakeholders and partners to initiate a project that will support agricultural products value chain development, rural industrialization and business incubation network services within Tanzania. Here, we are seeking self-motivated senior volunteers.
